Our Story

Dr. Denis Nagel has been a pillar of veterinary care in the Crossfield community since 1983. After selling his practice to Dr. Waylon Wise and Sherry Tetz, he pursued other endeavors in the veterinary field. But when the opportunity arose to once again work with the Crossfield community, Dr. Nagel jumped at the chance and took over the small animal portion of his former practice, renamed Rockyview Pet Vets.

Rockyview Pet Vets maintains the tradition of a family-owned, rural veterinary practice. Dr. Nagel's daughter Stina grew up in the clinic and now works at the front desk. She often brings her own young daughter to work with her, who you will see 'helping' her mom and grandpa. We also continue to share office space with our good friends at CCHMS and Wise Equine, maintaining the community atmosphere you have come to expect in Crossfield. We are thrilled to welcome new patients and old friends, providing individualized care for your family pets.
